Coco
Coco is the beauty behind Happy Pup And Play and Therisa’s energetic and loving fur baby. In March 2020 she chose Therisa as her foster mom from the Madison Animal Rescue Foundation after being abused and neglected by her original owners. It took less than a month before Coco had Therisa’s heart and became a foster fail. Coco was officially adopted in April 2020 and the rest is history! She is a sweet and friendly Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Mix who loves playing with friends (both furry and human), sunbathing, beach time, cuddles, road trips and butt scratches. All around Coco is one amazing Pup!
Therisa Means
Therisa is the brains behind Happy Pup And Play and Coco’s mommy. Coco and Therisa became a foster fail in 2020 when she adopted Coco and trained her to be an amazing protector and sweet and loving Pup. Therisa’s love of pups stemmed from her experience as a little girl with her Grandparents’ pup, a sweet little black dog named Midnight. After Midnight stole her heart, pup became one of her passions. After God gave her the idea, she used her experiences and her love for Pups and Pup Parents to carefully plan and develop Happy Pup And Play. Her experiences in entrepreneurship & business development, human daycare services and teaching, decades of customer service coupled with her Masters in Strategic Human Resources & Marketing, Bachelors in Business Management and Certificate in Entrepreneurship proved beneficial. Her vision for Happy Pup And Play is to bring the love of Christ into the pet industry by offering a uniquely phenomenal mix of pet services to take care of the needs of both the Pups and Pup Parents!
